About the Event
Join our Thriver Members Community Gathering and learn from Coach Emma. The 2017 Nobel Prize for medicine was awarded for discovering how our circadian rhythms are controlled. Light remains one of the most powerful influences on our behaviour and well-being and studies have found that disrupting the circadian system increases the risk of disease.
Circadian health refers to your body’s amazing natural ability to keep to a daily schedule via an internal 24-hour master clock that influences how your body operates on a healthy sleep/wake schedule. This clock contributes to the patterns, also known as circadian rhythms, of many biological activities including sleep-wake cycles, eating patterns, and hormone function. This cycle influences a number of things including weight loss and various other aspects of health, so ensuring it’s optimised is important for overall health and wellness.
